Maybe it’s time to head for the hills and what better place to go in this day and time than the mountains in Western North Carolina and East Tennessee. Real Estate, in spite of recent history, is still the best investment you can make for your future and that of your children and grandchildren.

Or mountain properties are in demand and we continue to experience a steady growth. Boone, North Carolina is the home of Appalachian State University and just eight minutes from Blowing Rock, a mountain village with a reputation for tourism since the late 1800s.

The Blue Ridge Parkway is accessible from both Boone and Blowing Rock and is celebrating its 75th anniversary. We are close to Pisgah National Forest as well the Appalachian Trail.

Skiing here in the high country is the best in the south and a short drive will take you to the shores of Watauga Lake in Tennessee; an amazing place. It is boarded by the Cherokee National Forest and offers fishing, swimming, and boating surrounded by high mountain peaks. We live and work in a recreational wonderland. You can be as sophisticated or as down home as you have ever dreamed of being due to the many advantages of living in a University town and being surrounded by natural wonders.

Don’t allow the pundants to scare you off. This is a buyers market with interest rates low and a glut of properties on the market. Eight out of 10 economists say home prices will rise in the next 5 years. The right thing to do is to buy now before prices and interest rates go up, which they surely will given the history of the market.

I can’t encourage you enough to come shopping for your future here in our mountains and let us help you with your search. We have variety of properties in Watauga, Avery and Ashe Counties in NC, and Johnson and Carter Counties in TN. -- fine homes with beautiful mountain views, tracts of land and building lots. Places with trout streams and high mountain meadows.

Visit us and let us help you with our knowledge and 43 years of experience. Real Estate has created more millionaires than any other type of investment So put your money into something solid and watch it grow.

Happy Customers

I have been practicing law in northeast Tennessee for over 30 years, the majority of my practice concentrated in real estate transactions. I have known and dealt with John Wakeman in his capacity as a real estate broker during this time and have always found him to exhibit the highest qualities of ethics, efficiency and professionalism in all of his transactions. I would certainly recommend his services for any real estate transactions in this area.
