I am very proud to work with the folks here at Wakeman Realty and to represent properties in the western North Carolina Mountains where I was born and raised. I am a native of Watauga County and my family has been established in the area since the 1870’s. My Grandfather was one of the founders of Appalachian State University from which I graduated. My wife Dianne and I have four daughters and four grand daughters.

My business career has included several retail ventures: Dougherty Clothing Store, East Side-West Side Deli, Angelica Trading Co, Paradigm Coffee House and commercial real estate properties. I have returned to Boone after 20 years and am delighted to be back in the mountains.
